1. Who processes your data

Integration Academy is a trade name of Vico Development B.V., established at Walserij 4, 2211 SJ Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 42090651, VAT number NL869669692B01.

We are the data controller. Questions about your data go to klantenservice@cursus-group.nl. No data protection officer has been appointed; that is not required for a company of this size with these kinds of processing activities.

2. What we process, and why

When you buy a course

Your name and email address, and what you bought. We need those to give you access and send your invoice. Legal basis: performance of the contract.

When you pay

Payment runs through Mollie. Your account or card details reach Mollie, not us; we only see that a payment was made, for how much and by which method. Legal basis: performance of the contract.

With the free practice questions

Your first name and email address, so we can send you the questions and email you a few times afterwards about the course. Legal basis: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

For our administration

We keep invoices because we have to: the Dutch tax authority requires seven years. Legal basis: legal obligation.

To see which advertisement works

We record which advertisement or search brought you here — click ids from Google and Meta and the utm labels in the link — and which pages you visited afterwards. On a purchase we send an event to Meta containing your hashed email address and first name, plus your IP address and browser type. Hashed means irreversibly converted, so Meta can compare the address but cannot read it back. This happens on every visit and every purchase; we do not ask you for permission beforehand. If you would rather not, see the section on cookies below.

3. Cookies

The site uses cookies needed to make it work — your language choice and your basket — and cookies for measuring advertisements: Google and Meta, plus one that remembers where you came from. Those last ones expire after 30 days.

We show no cookie banner and therefore do not ask you beforehand. It says so here because you are entitled to know, not because it is hidden somewhere.

If you would rather not be measured, you can block or clear cookies in your browser, use an ad blocker, or send us an email — we will then make sure your data is not used for advertising measurement. The site works fine without those cookies.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. It goes to the parties we need in order to deliver:

Mollie (Netherlands) — the payment.
Brevo (France) — sending email.
Supabase (European servers) — the database your data sits in.
The learning environment at login.cursus-group.nl — your access to the course.
Meta (United States) — measuring advertisements, and only hashed.
Google (United States) — measuring advertisements.

Meta and Google also process data outside the EU. That happens on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep it

Invoices and payment data: seven years, because the tax authority requires it.
Your account and course progress: as long as you have access, so for as long as your subscription runs. If you ask us to delete it, we do.
Email addresses for the newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Advertising data and click ids: 30 days.

6. What you can ask for

You may ask us to give you access to your data, to correct, erase or transfer it, and to restrict or object to the processing. Consent you have given may always be withdrawn; that does not affect what happened before.

One email to klantenservice@cursus-group.nl is enough. We respond within 30 days. To avoid handing data to the wrong person, we may ask you to show that you are who you say you are.

If you disagree with what we do, you can complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). We would rather hear it ourselves first, so we have a chance to fix it.

7. Security

Traffic to the site is encrypted. Only the people who need it can reach the data, and payment details, as mentioned, never reach us at all. If something goes wrong anyway and your data is involved, we will tell you.

8. What we do not do

We do not make decisions about you based on a computer program alone, and we do not build profiles to treat you differently from anyone else. What you do in the course — which questions you get right — is used only to show you your own progress.

9. Governing language

This statement exists in Dutch, English and Arabic. The Dutch text is the binding version; the other two exist to make the statement readable for those who do not read Dutch.
